Ethereal Love

Out of every person in the world, it was you…
Out of all of the possible theorems in the world,
You were the one that was true.
Sacred like geometry.
This equation has been proved.
Holy for loving me in my entirety.


I would say that I'm happy I decided to love you,
but it wasn't my decision.
To love you was my soulright.
And even through the heartbreak,
and soulache along the way,
You were worth the wait.


Those love songs I dreamed to.
Melodies to our future memories.
Those words I wrote.
Preludes to this unbeknownst chemistry.
I still sneak a peak when you pass me.
My peripheral vision… at attention.
Frozen in disbelief.
Thawed in trust.
And I still blush when we touch…


No earthly entity could foresee,
The way you’d care for me.
The idea... of us was moving.
But the product… this union,
is an unassuming complexity.
Reserved and complicated.
Blessed and unadulterated.
Unparalleled and uninfiltrated.


Never letting our flexible souls mold to rigid bodies.
Humanistic instincts are eclipsed by the Godly.
More love, understanding, more listening and talking.
Less walking. Less ignoring, Less quitting.
Our spiritual freedom isn’t fleeting.
We are a constantly re-defining two.


Out of every soul in this world,
Mine was chosen to evolve with yours.
Companions, best friends, who chose to transcend.
To share,
Ethereal love.
