Feed Your Fire

7/13/2017

There’s a flame within us all. In some it is burning strong. In others it is faint, but we all have fire. How often do you feed your fire? My fire is my spirit, and my spirit is fed daily, but it wasn’t always this way.

Our thoughts and words have so much power over our lives. The things you tell yourself affect you much more than the things other people say. Face it, if you believe in yourself wholeheartedly, then it wouldn’t matter what people say to you. Their words would burn in your fire and act as a catalyst to make your fire grow!

Feed your fire. Surround yourself with people who want to see you hotter. Hotter than you’ve ever been. Those are your true friends. You will see negativity coming from everywhere. Don’t be upset. Don’t get discouraged cause that’s balance. You’ll see just as much positivity or more if you make the positive your focus.

The more you focus on triumph, the more triumphant you are.

You have to redirect your energy. To redirect is to direct something to a new or different place or purpose. Here’s an example:

Someone once said to me, “You’ll never be successful.”

I could take that to heart. I could cry. I could say, “you’re right.”
OR
I could look at where I began and how far I’ve come and tell myself (not them, comments of that nature are not worth the energy of a response) I’m already successful.

While feeding your fire you also have to know that your idea of success and etc. may not be the same as others. That’s why it is NEVER beneficial to compare your life to someone else’s.

So, let’s talk about the benefits of a healthy spirit… of a burning fire within you.

  1. You feel better. You sleep less. You’re lighter. You move more.
  2. You have much more energy especially if you are working towards your passion.
  3. You are totally submerged in the things you love to do.
  4. You have a burning feeling to live your life differently. The way you want. The way that is best  for you.
  5. People will point out your gifts. You will recognize those people as blessings. You will take the steps necessary to hone the skills needed to perfect those gifts.
  6. You will have this knowing that no matter how bad things  seem to get, you will make it.
  7. You will own your strongest faith.

This takes me to a short conversation I’ve been wanting to have on weight loss. Often, we want to lose weight for the wrong reasons. Maybe you want to look like someone on TV, or you want to find a partner. Well, my fire burned off my pounds. I don’t even step on the scale anymore. Losing pounds isn’t my driving force for exercising anymore. My spirit feels lighter when my body feels lighter. I know that I need to eat the right things to have energy. I need energy to write. Writing pays the bills. I know that I want to be a mother. So, my body needs to be in its best condition before I even think about carrying another spirit in it.

Go natural! And by that, I mean to look to herbs and plants to help you. I make fat burning oils, and take different herbs to  aid  me in my healthy lifestyle.

Be beautiful on the inside first.
Change your thoughts.
Change your wants.
Change your words.
Change your energy.
Change your life.

To wrap this up, this month’s mantra is:

My strongest Faith.

At any point when I feel discouraged about anything, I’ll remind myself that this is the time when I need to have my strongest faith. It’s always the time.

This month’s stones:
Clear Quartz, Optical Calcite, Yellow Citrine, and Fire Stone.

I’m gonna bring y’all with me, those who want to come.

Later on this month I will open my Self-Awareness Coaching services to the public. Check out the packages that I’ll be offering! I’m very excited to help others while they’re on their journey to self-discovery.
